Since I was a kid, I’ve had a fascination with audio—both in electronic music, electronic sound effects, and creating immersive worlds with audio. Many years back, I watched a documentary called Building a Thrill Ride: Expedition Everest. The ride engineers hid speakers around the ride’s environment to make a fully immersive audio experience, and that inspired me to pursue audio in college.
I’ve been an audio student in college since 2019, and have worked both independently and in group projects on a variety of productions. These include recording local bands and ARC bands in the class studios, group foley projects, group mastering projects, group noise reduction projects, and independent mixing and mastering projects. I’ve also worked with a variety of mixing consoles and processors of different types and brands.
In software, I have experience with Pro Tools and Reason. In college, I’ve earned certificates in Digital Audio Production, Pro Tools Certified User, and Dante. Besides mixing, I’ve contributed to projects using my experience with playing the keyboard and learning songs by ear.
Outside of my college education, I've been a church band musician for 10 years now.
